Dr. Janette Nesheiwat is a double board-certified medical doctor. She brings a refreshingly no-nonsense attitude to the latest medical news, breaking down everything you need to know to keep you- and your family- healthy at all times. She is also the author of Beyond the Stethoscope: Miracles in Medicine.
A graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, UAMS, Dr. Nesheiwat’s passion for service was shaped by her faith and her upbringing. Raised as one of five children by a widowed mother, she learned the value of resilience, compassion, and hard work early in life.
Whether caring for her patients or serving on the front lines of disaster relief missions, Dr. Nesheiwat’s passion is not only to save lives—but to change them, by giving real people the treatment and the expertise they need.She has led medical relief missions around the globe from Haiti to Ukraine to Africa. Her medical career spans emergency care, family medicine, and disaster relief response, earning her recognition as a leader in public health and global humanitarian efforts. Whether saving lives in the ER, advocating for health education on TV, or delivering care to underserved communities globally , Dr. Nesheiwat’s mission is to empower and inspire others through her work. Today she is a medical news correspondent and the Medical Director at CityMed.
